The Homenetmen Canada Region's 36th Annual Representatives Meeting took place this year at the Armenian Community Centre in Montreal from April 17 to 19, 2009. The meeting comprised of 30 elected representatives and 20 guests and observers from Montreal, Toronto, and Cambridge. The outgoing Regional Executive presented the agenda for the meeting as well as provided reports on the past year. Topics on the agenda included: Homenetmen meeting and events over the past year, Upcoming Athletic and Scouting Events, The five chapters within the region, New budget for the coming year, and the election of the new Regional Executive. The new executives for the Homenetmen Canada Region are: Mosig Topouzian, Raffi Apanian, Zareh Dolmajian, Mihran Hacherian, and Haig Agopian.

Canada The three Homenetmen Regions of North America got together February 7 to 9, 2009 in Glendale California for the annual Tri-Regional Meeting. Homenetmen Canada Region was represented by Regional Chair yeghpayr Papken Garabedian and yeghpayr Mosig Topouzian, Regional Scout Khorourt member kouyr Sossi Taschjian and Montreal Group Scouter kouyr Roupina Ekmekdjian. Montreal has been busy recently with Homenetmen Game Night, A Volunteer Appreciation Night, and WinterCamp for the Scouts. Please Click Here for these items and pictures.
Toronto Both boys and girls Scouting groups had their annual Winter Camp recently, The Annual Athletic Awards Night, and Armenian Hockey Day with the local OHL Team. Toronto will be celebrating it's 40th Anniversary in 2009. Please Click Here for these items and pictures.
Cambridge Just had their Scouts Winter Camp and has the Annual Homenetmen Soccer tournament coming up May 2nd. Please Click Here for these items and pictures.

The Regional Scout Khorourt has been meeting to prepare a strategy for the scouting groups to utilize the Homenetmen Scouting books and ensure that all scouts participate in and achieve certification in obtaining their "Pen" and "Ayp" Garks. The levels are requirements for the scouts to have in order for them to participate in coming Homenetmen World Jamborees.
Homenetmen Canada currently has Scouting chapters in Montreal, Toronto, and Cambridge.
