Homenetmen Canada Region's Website!
The Homenetmen Canada Annual Scout's Leaders meeting will take place in Kingston, Ontario on February 5, 2012. Leaders and Scout Committee members will get together to discuss all things about Homenetmen Scouting in Canada and start the preparations for the upcoming 6th Homenetmen Canada Regional Scout Camp.
Homenetmen Canada will be participating in the Annual Tri-Regional meeting that takes place annually between Canada, East USA, and West USA Regions. The meeting will take place this year in Los Angeles, California from Feb 17 to 19, 2012.
The meeting last year took place in Boston.
The 6th Homenetmen Canada Regional Scout Camp will take place from July 14 to 22, 2012 this year at Camp Sagonaska north of Belleville, Ontario. Over 150 Scouts from Montreal, Toronto, and Cambridge will participate in the week long camp which will have excursions, guests, and of course the nightly campfires.

The 42nd Homenetmen Canada Games were awarded to take place for the first time this year in Cambridge. The games will take place over the weekend of May 25 to 27, 2012 and will feature teams invited from across Canada and the USA. Games will include Basketball, Volleyball, Floor Hockey, Indoor Soccer, Table Tennis, and Chess.

The 41st Annual Homenetmen Canada Games took place in Toronto this year over the weekend of November 25-27, 2011. There were teams from Toronto, Montreal, Cambridge, Laval, Pasadena, and Detroit competing in brotherly sportsmanship. Over 300 Athletes took part in games including, Basketball, Indoor Soccer, Table Tennis and Chess.
The Gala Victory Celebration took place on Saturday, November 26th in the newly renovated hall at the Armenian Community Centre with over 600 people dancing into the early hours with singer Elie Berberian.
The Closing Ceremonies will took place at the Homenetmen Gymnasium in the Armenian Youth Centre on Sunday, November 27. Friends and family filled the gym to watch the Scouts and the athletes parade in to the music played by the Homenetmen Toronto Scouts Fanfare. Medals and trophies were presented to all the winning athletes and teams.
Congratulations to all those that took part. When asked "who won" the answer was a unanimous " Homenetmen".

HOMENETMEN Canada hosted an inter-chapter Executive's meeting on Sunday, October 2, 2011 in Kingston, Ontario. Representatives from Montreal, Toronto, Cambridge, and Laval plus invited guests spent the day discussing issues and planning future events for Homenetmenagans in Canada.
Scout Camp Opemikon played host to the first Homenetmen Canada Educational Camp for Leaders. 32 Leaders from Toronto, Montreal, and Cambridge along with veteran Scout leaders and members of the Regional Scout Committee participated in the camp over the weekend of Sept. 9 to 11, 2011.

HOMENETMEN Canada's 38th Annual Regional Meeting took place in Montreal over the weekend of Friday, May 20th to Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Representatives from Montreal, Hamilton, Toronto, and Cambridge plus invited guests spent the weekend discussing issues to improve Homenetmen and of course ended the meeting with the election of a new Regional Executive Committee.

Scouting Meeting / Seminar. Leaders from Montreal, Toronto, and Cambridge got together along with the Regional Executive and Regional Scout Committee for their annual Meeting/Seminar that took place on September 18, 2010 in Kingston.
Homenetmen Canada's Policy, Procedure, and By-Law Manual ( Nerkin Ganonakir) has been updated.
