9th Pan Homenetmen Jamboree, July 31-Aug 8, Puragan, Armenia.
Homenetmen Canada participated in the 9th Homenetmen World Jamboree with 71 youth and leaders from Montreal, Toronto, and Cambridge. The youth took advantage of this once in a life time opportunity to display their scouting skills, make new Homenetmenagan friends from around the world, and of course see all the sites in Armenia. Canada's Delegation leader Kouyr Roupina Ekmekjian, a veteran of Jamborees said that this was the best Jamboree ever with 557 participants from 18 Regions representing 59 chapters camping on a hill top over looking the Ararat Valley.

HOMENETMEN Canada's 37th Annual Regional Meeting took place in Cambridge over the weekend of Friday, May 14th to Sunday, May 16th.
33 Representatives from Montreal, Hamilton, Toronto, and Cambridge plus invited guests spent the weekend discussing issues to improve Homenetmen and of course ended the meeting with the election of a new Regional Executive Committee. In keeping with the work involved, the number of executives was increased this year from five to seven members.
The executives for 2010-2011 are:
From Montreal: Mosig Topouzian, Raffi Apanian, Setrag Boursalian, Leon Bengian
From Toronto: Haig Agopian, Helen Najarian
From Cambridge: Samson Kahkejian
The Homenetmenagans stayed in Cambridge following the meeting and participated in Cambridge's May 28th Armenian Independence Commemoration.

Homenetmen Hamilton held it's last general meeting on April 18th, 2010 where the first re-established Homenetmen Hamilton executives gave a report on their achievements and challenges, since their elections on November 15th, 2009. As per Homenetmen rules, the executive resigned prior to the Batgamavoragan meeting in May.
The Chapter is presently 30 members strong.
Homenetmen Canada's Policy, Procedure, and By-Law Manual ( Nerkin Ganonakir) has been updated.

February 27th weekend Sherchanain executives from Canada, US East and US West got together in Laval, Quebec to discuss various topics of common interest such as the upcoming scouts’ camping trip in Armenia this summer. Each Sherchan gave a short update on their membership and discussed their successes and challenges. The meeting is normally held every year but since the group found this kind of dialog very beneficial they will try to regroup via internet conferencing in about 4 to 6 months.
